Journal Entry 1 - Game Design

After working with 2d game kit, I really wanted to make a game from scratch. The gamekit was prone to crashing and generally hard to navigate when I wanted to implement something new, since the documentation is not that great. 

I found it quite difficult to find an idea for the game that I liked and that was possible to implement with my current skills. I couldn't figure anything out for the longest time, until this morning, when I was on the toilet I got this brilliant idea. Let's make a game where you play as pinocchio and fight with your big long nose, that's sounds like it will be funny. 

So I spent some time figuring out how it would work and this is the result.
